Journal of Applied and Computational Sciences (JOFACS) is a peer-reviewed international scientific journal that publishes original and valuable research articles in all areas of both applied and computational sciences.

JOFACS is an interdisciplinary journal publishing high-quality research articles that treat scientific problems using computational methods. Appropriate subject areas include, but are not limited to, physical sciences, engineering, financial, and life sciences. Examples are problems in fluid dynamics, including advection-diffusion-reaction problems, sedimentation, and combustion; bifurcation models, dynamical systems, elasticity, material sciences, pathological modelling, biomedical problems, mathematical biology including population dynamics, biomechanics, and physiology; wave propagation problems, nonlinear dynamics, physiotherapeutic modelling, networks, probabilistic and statistical modelling, stochastic processes, artificial intelligence problems, aerodynamical modelling, expert systems, and modelling of unmanned vehicles. Computational techniques of interest include but are not limited to, the finite element method, boundary element method, finite volume method, spectral element method, finite difference method, wavelets, and artificial intelligence techniques such as deep learning, machine learning, and neural networks.

JOFACS is published biannually (June and December). Articles submitted to JOFACS are evaluated primarily by the editor. Any submitted paper will be evaluated by at least two different referees and a double-blind review process is carried out.

Note that studies containing only theoretical results will not be considered for publication in JOFACS.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be written in English.

Every year one volume of JOFACS is published and each volume consists of two issues which are published on the 30th of every June and December. Also, special issues can be published upon the suggestion of the Editorial Board and the approval of the Editor.

In the citations, the journal name should be abbreviated as J. Appl. Comp. Sci.

JOFACS commits that the publication cycle including the processes of article submission, review, or publication is carried out free of charge.

The licensee of the journal is Tahir Cosgun, and the Managing Editor is Hande Uslu.

ISSN: 2980-0374

en-USCall for Papers
