Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published and it is not going to be submitted to another journal for consideration.
  • The submission file is in portable document file (PDF) format. This file should not include the name(s) of the author(s) since it will be used through the double-blind review process.
  • Initially submitted pdf documents should be prepared by using double-spacing and line-numbering for review purposes.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Where available, DOIs or URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The names of authors and their order on the title page cannot be changed after the submission of the manuscript.

Author Guidelines

Journal of Applied and Computational Sciences (JOFACS ) is published in English and only electronically. Both the manuscript and the cover letter should be submitted in PDF format. A cover letter should be included only when it contains additional information not included in the manuscript. In the submitted paper, all the figures, and tables if any, must be embedded in the text.

Authors can submit their paper(s) in portable document file (pdf) format that should be created from any source file. All the figures, tables, etc. must be embedded in this submitted pdf file for peer review purposes. After the peer review process, the submitted paper must be designed in the template LaTeX file or in the template Word file. After submission, the source file of the paper will be required for the publication process.

The authors' names should be ordered according to their contribution to the study. Any author who contributed to the submitted article must have been informed about the submission sufficiently.

The submitted paper has not been published or submitted for publication simultaneously elsewhere. Papers published previously elsewhere will not be considered. If the study has been presented at any conference, it must be mentioned in the paper and in the acknowledgement part properly. Also, funding, if any, must be expressed in the acknowledgement.

The Editor of the journal has the exclusive right to assign papers to editors; while editors reserve the right to reject any manuscript that does not satisfy the standards of the journal.

Research Articles

The journal currently accepts only research article submissions and decisions are taken upon the review reports of at least two different referees.

Permissions regarding copyright issues must be provided during the submission process. JOFACS has no responsibility for copyright issues. Conflict of interests, declaration of interests, and ethical statements, if any, must be provided by the corresponding author. JOFACS is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
