Call for Papers
Journal of Applied and Computational Sciences (JOFACS) is a peer-reviewed international scientific journal that publishes original and valuable research in all areas of both applied and computational sciences.
JOFACS is an interdisciplinary journal publishing high-quality research articles that treat scientific problems using computational methods. Appropriate subject areas include, but not limited to physical sciences, engineering, financial, and life sciences. Examples are problems in fluid mechanics, including advection-reaction-diffusion problems, sedimentation, combustion, and transport theory, solid mechanics, elasticity, electromagnetic theory and optics, material sciences, pathological modeling, biomedical problems, mathematical biology including population dynamics, biomechanics, and physiology, wave propagation problems, including scattering theory and wave propagation in random media, inverse problems, nonlinear dynamics, wavelet theory including multi-resolution properties, and stochastic processes. Computational techniques of interest include, but not limited to, finite element method, boundary element method, finite volume method, spectral element method, asymptotic methods, bifurcation theory, finite difference method, dynamical systems theory, artificial intelligence techniques such as deep learning, and neural networks, physiotherapeutic modeling, complex network theory, probabilistic and statistical methods.
JOFACS is published biannually (June and December). Articles submitted to JOFACS are evaluated primarily by the editor. Any submitted paper will be evaluated by at least two different referees and a double-blind review process is carried out.
